Dr. Irada Al-Jubouri

She is of Iraqi nationality, holding a Ph.D. from the College of Media at the University of Baghdad in 2006, and a Master’s degree from the College of Arts in 1996. She has been working as a professor at the College of Media at the University of Baghdad, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses since 2006.

She has held several academic positions, including:

Editor-in-Chief of the Media Researcher Journal since 2020
Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies (2016-2020)
Chairwoman of the Scientific Promotions Committee at the College of Media (2015-2016)
Editor’s Assistant for the Media Researcher Journal for five years (2009-2014)
She worked as a professor at the College of Media at the University of Sana’a between 1997 and 2000. She began writing in cultural journalism in 1989, contributing to both Iraqi and Arab newspapers. Additionally, she created a radio program when the Al-Mahaba Radio station was established in 2005.
